Primary Principles

As any other company that processes personal data of individuals living in the European Union, we are submitted to the GDPR, the General Data Protection Regulation. Depending on where you are connecting from, you and we may be subject to other supplementary or different regulations.

As the Controller of your personal information, we have the duty to follow some primary principles:

• We will only process your personal information for the purpose set out in this privacy statement (see below).
• We will, by default and by design, only collect information that is strictly necessary for us to run our services, and for you to be properly identified. If we want to gather more information, we will always make sure that you provide a consent that is freely given, specific, informed and unambiguous.
• We may ask you to confirm such personal information from time to time, as it is also our duty to keep such personal information to keep it accurate and up to date.
• We only keep your personal data for the time necessary for our processing purpose, or for the time period expressly required by law.
• We will never sell, rent or provide your personal data to third parties for commercial reasons.

Collection of your personal data, purpose of processing

There are only two ways for us to collect your personal data:

1/ Through cookies and tracking technologies – please refer to our Easy-Labs Cookie Policy.

2/ Through your adhesion to our platform, since we will need contact details, billing details, and some details related to your position and situation.

Please note that if you have been solicited by email or by phone, conditions mentioned here are not applicable as you should not have been directed to this website for this purpose. In this case, the legal terms and conditions of the networking platform where you have shared your details would apply to frame the commercial prospection.

The purpose for the processing of your personal data is the conclusion, administration and performance of the service contract between you and Easy-Labs, as well as the maintenance of this commercial relationship.

Here is the personal data we may process in the course of our services

1/ Your name, first name, contact details, a photo if available, your languages

2/ Your professional address and email, your work title, the name of your employer or of your agency, boutique or firm

3/ Your purpose in using the Easy-Labs platform, your technological areas of interest,

In some situations, some additional personal information may be requested by a third party to conclude a contract through our Easy-Labs platform. Please note that in this case, this shall not be considered as a personal data requested by Easy-Labs, which shall not be responsible for such processing.

No sensitive data shall ever be requested from you or processed by Easy-Labs.

Our legal basis for processing your personal information

Per legitimate Interest and/or per the Contract you have signed with Easy-Labs, the processing of your strictly necessary personal information is allowed.

Any supplementary processing shall require your direct consent.

If you are not located in the European Union, and if the applicable legislation of your country of residence requires a different legal basis, please proactively contact us so that we can duly make sure that this consent is a freely given, specific, informed and unambiguous indication of your wish to have your personal data processed by Easy-Labs.

The retention period: How long will we keep your personal data

Easy-Labs will only retain your personal data for the time necessary to achieve the purpose for which it was collected and processed, including to comply with any legal or accounting requirement.

This means that we will retain your personal data for the duration of your contract with Easy-Labs, and for two (2) more years afterwards. After this retention period, we shall delete all unnecessary personal data we own about you, just leaving ourselves the capability to deal with our own legal obligations – Please note that accounting documents can be kept up to ten (10) years after the considered fiscal year.

Sharing your personal data with third parties

We shall only share your personal data with third parties in the course of the performance of the services we offer to you – hosting of our services, accounting, electronic signature.

No subcontracting of the services that we offer shall be hidden to you, and no further processing of your personal data shall be engaged without your consent.

Please note that we will do our best to provide recognized subcontractors services located in France, and as a minimum in Europe, with a level of security and organization that is at least as stringent to the one we are applying to our own services.

Please also note that, under very specific conditions, we may have to share your personal information when required by law and/or government authorities.

Securing your personal data

Easy-Labs understands that the security of your personal data is important. We protect your personal data from misuse, interference, loss, unauthorized access, modification or disclosure. We have implemented a number of security measures to help protect your personal data. For example, we implement access controls, use firewalls and secure servers, and we encrypt personal data. Please note however that where you are transmitting information to us over the internet this can never be guaranteed to be 100% secure.

Your rights over your personal data

You can, at any time, exercise your rights over your personal data. You nevertheless recognize that exercising some rights may have as a consequence to make it impossible to continue the performance of the service that Easy-Labs is delivering, without any fault from our side.

You have the right to

1/ Access your personal data,

2/ Have your personal data rectified, if it is inaccurate or incomplete,

3/ Object to the processing of your personal data, when such processing is based on legitimate interest,

4/ Have your personal data deleted, when no longer necessary, if you object to Easy-Labs processing your personal data for our legitimate interest, or if such personal data is not processed lawfully, or for any other circumstance set forth by the law,

5/ Withdraw your consent, if we have requested a specific consent for a specific processing,

6/ Restrict our processing of your personal data, if you believe it is inaccurate, not processed lawfully, no longer needed, or for other circumstances set forth by the law,

7/ Ask for data portability, whenever your personal data is processed on the basis of our contract,

8/ Lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Supervisory Authority of your country, namely the CNIL in France.
